Unscented · No Clay

Plain

$8

The most honest version of the formula. Three ingredients — olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter — pressed into a bar and cured until ready. No clay. No essential oils. The natural golden-cream color comes from the olive oil itself. Suited to sensitive skin, fragrance sensitivities, and anyone who wants nothing between them and the soap.

Hand-cut bar, approximately 1 inch thick. Slight variation in size is part of the craft.

Ingredients

  • Saponified olive oil
  • Saponified coconut oil
  • Saponified shea butter

Nothing else. No fragrance, no clay, no additives.

What it smells like

Very faintly of olive oil and the saponification process — a soft, slightly grassy, neutral scent. It fades almost entirely once rinsed. This is the bar for people with fragrance sensitivities or who simply want no scent at all.

How to Use

Lather between your hands or directly on wet skin. Rinse thoroughly. Excellent for sensitive, reactive, or dry skin. The shea butter leaves skin feeling nourished without residue.

Work a lather through wet hair from scalp to ends. Rinse well. The Plain bar is gentlest on the scalp during the transition from commercial shampoo. Follow with a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse (1 tbsp per cup water) to restore pH and add shine.

First time switching from shampoo? Start with the Plain bar. No essential oils means fewer variables. Give your scalp 1–3 weeks to adjust. The ACV rinse is important in hard water areas — it prevents the "waxy" feeling some people experience during the transition.
